Sherlock - Series 3 Review

Sherlock returned this year with - The Empty Hearse, The Sign of Three, and His Last Vow. The entire  series revolves around John and Mary (not Sherlock), well a little bit of Sherlock. I managed to view all three episodes via live-stream, kudos to http://www.combom.co.uk/ for serving the stream!

The first episode revolves around the engagement of John and Mary and the reappearance of Sherlock. And to spoil to all who have yet to watch Sherlock, here is how he survived the fall in series 2:
First the fall:

Here is how he survived the fall:

Pictorially (can also gotten on a t-shirt):

The second episode deals with the wedding of John and Mary. Never let Sherlock give a best man speech or speech period at a wedding. John and Mary, and the guests learned the lesson the hard way....

The third episode deals with a lie/conspiracy in this series and sets the stage for the next series:

Also as per The Mary Sue, the fourth and fifth series of Sherlock has have been already been "plotted out" and will hopefully air before 2050....

Doctor Who - Number of regenerations?

For those who are not watching/following Doctor Who, let me stop you right here and right now and guide you to the amazing world of Doctor Who!

And now for those who do watch/follow Doctor Who, the total number of regenerations the Doctor can undergo has been a crucial question, well not as crucial as the Doctor's true name..., but nonetheless an important question that determines the ending of the show. Well the one quick Google search and a quick wiki reading later (BTW - ton of spoilers in that reading) I am still unclear about the total number of regeneration the Doctor has or can have....

Today on The Mary Sue blog, I came across the article that has Moffat's statement on the Doctor only having 12 regenerations, but then there is this.... Also io9 has their post.... So in the end it is a penny in the air... and till it drops we have no clue what the right answer is....
